100 Challenge


In addition to having a Life List, I make it a point to do 100 new things every year. Sometimes I seek out these opportunities, and other times they just present themselves to me. These things might be small, insignificant tasks that I’ve never done before, experiences that just happen to me or massive journeys that turn into life-changing events.

2013 is the fourth year I am participating in the 100 Challenge.

  1. Attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
  2. Wrote about automotive technology.
  3. Submitted a speaker proposal for a conference.
  4. Watched a handball tournament.
  5. Ate latkes.
  6. Made dumplings.
  7. Saw Anything Goes.
  8. Got stitches while I was completely awake.
  9. Made a heart-shaped pizza.
  10. Saw Linkin Park in concert.
  11. Saw West Side Story on stage.
  12. Lew Aer Lingus.
  13. Visited Ireland.
  14. Spent St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin.
  15. Learn how to Irish dance with Riverdance.
  16. Met Ireland’s president.
  17. Learned to drink Guinness.
  18. Saw Shrek on stage.
  19. Went to a spring training baseball game.
  20. Completed a ropes obstacle course.
  21. Received a speeding ticket.
  22. Made a copper cuff bracelet.
